Office of International Plannning

The Office is responsible for mapping out international strategy for the university and finding the financial support to implement it.

International Relations and International  Exchange

As of 2013, Ehime University has partnerships with more than 90 institutions abroad with which we sponsor events and pursue mutual  understanding and friendship. These  partnerships are not only with academic institutions.  For example, we have exchange with regional society, government and industry through our partnership with the province of South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Internationalization is promoted by providing information via a multi-lingual website and participation in international student recruiting conventions. We are also offering and planning many exchange opportunities, such as short-term study programs, double-degree programs, foreign internships, and student and faculty exchange.

Leading research is pursued at our three international-level centers: the Center for Marine Environment Studies, the Geodynamics Research Center and the Cell-free Science and Technology Research Center.  There are also eight graduate-level courses offered in English for international students.

Through these international activities we are promoting the skills and development of our staff and facilities.
