　　　第11回グローカル・エンゲージメント研究会の開催について（ご案内）

　このたび、第11回グローカル・エンゲージメント研究会を、下記のとおり開催いたします。
　グローカル・エンゲージメント研究会は、愛媛大学国際連携推進機構ASEANエンゲージ
メント推進室およびアフリカ・エンゲージメント推進室が不定期に開催している研究会です。
　今回は、セントラル・ランカシャー大学David Elvis Leeming前上級講師に、
「Intercultural Journeys: Understanding Culture through Experience and Reflection」
の題目でご講演いただきます。
　国際交流にご関心のある方は、どなたでもご参加いただけますので、ぜひご参加ください。

　で考える機会とします。

　We are pleased to announce that the 11th Glocal Engagement Seminar will be held as follows. The Glocal Engagement Seminar is a series of seminars held periodically by ASEAN/Africa Engagement Promotion Office of the Institute for International Relations at Ehime University.
　For this session, Mr. David Elvis Leeming, former Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire, will deliver a lecture titled “Intercultural Journeys: Understanding Culture through Experience and Reflection.”
　Anyone interested in international exchange is welcome to attend.

　Explore intercultural communication through personal experience, student perspectives, and contemporary cultural theory. This seminar invites you to reflect on how cultural assumptions are formed, how misunderstandings arise, and whether culture is sometimes used too easily as an explanation or excuse. In this seminar, you will:
・share your own perspectives in small-group discussion
・take part in short reflection tasks
・compare Japanese and British viewpoints
・question cultural assumptions and easy explanations
