Orientation for new international students
The following orientation will be held for new international students enrolling for the First semester 2026.All international students are required to attend this orientation.
If you have cold symptoms or fever (37.5 degrees Celsius or higher), please refrain from participating and contact the International Relations Division after you are cured.

Orientation Session
[First Session] Date: September 28(Mon) 13:00-16:00
[Location] Faculty of Education Main Building, 4th Floor, Room 401 (Johoku Campus)
[Second Session] Date: October 10(Sat) 13:00-15:00
[Location] Faculty of Education Main Building, 4th Floor, Room 401 (Johoku Campus), and the bicycle parking
area next to the Faculty of Education building.
*Notification of health and safety training for graduate students will be given around October to November.
Japanese language placement test
[Date & Time]
Wednesday, September 30, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or
Monday, October 5, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Please note that entry will close at 2:30 p.m.

Room A12, 1st Floor, Common Lecture Building (Johoku Campus)
Students enrolled in Japanese language classes must take one of the placement tests.
Students who are learning Japanese for the first time do not need to take the placement test.
No reservation is required.
