Insurance
Please instruct students to be sure to purchase travel insurance. Supplementary insurance such as that provided by credit cards may not be sufficient. In addition, for programs in which more than one student is participating, please instruct all students to purchase insurance from the same insurance company in order to ensure prompt response in the event of an accident or mishap.
GAKKENSAI supplemental overseas study insurance (supplemental sea study)
Ehime University recommends incidental sea study. However, if your study abroad destination specifies an insurance company or if the coverage is deemed insufficient, please purchase a separate insurance policy.
If you wish to enroll in supplementary sea study, please fill out the form and submit it to the Student Exchange Team, International Affairs Division (kokuryu@stu.ehime-u.ac.jp).
Only students may purchase supplementary sea study insurance. If you wish to enroll faculty and staff members in the same insurance company, please inform the Student Exchange Team of the International Affairs Division.
JCSOS J-Basic
The program is activated in the event of a serious incident or accident at the destination country, and support is available for handling the situation at the university.
Programs adopted by the Ehime University Student Exchange (Short-term) Program and the JASSO Overseas Study Support Program (Dispatch by Agreement), including faculty and staff, are eligible to receive assistance from the university, so please be proactive in joining this program.
If you wish to join J-Basic, please fill out the form and submit it to the Student Exchange Team, International Affairs Division (kokuryu@stu.ehime-u.ac.jp).
Ehime University Student Abroad (Short-term) Program

The Ehime University Foundation provides partial support for travel and other expenses for this program, in which faculty members plan overseas study programs and recruit students to participate.
Please consider applying for this program.

Procedures Manual List of Short-Term Student Dispatch ProgramsGuidelines for Overseas Training Planners and Leaders
In recent years, Ehime University has been active in organizing overseas training and study abroad programs for its students. However, there are many cases in which these programs are planned and managed without taking emergency response into consideration.
The purpose of these guidelines is to clarify and limit the scope of responsibility of the organizers/leaders of group training and study abroad programs, and to ensure that a systematic response is taken.
